Our products Lines
When it comes to copper products, the grades ETP (Electrolytic Tough Pitch) and OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper) are commonly used to describe specific types of copper, each with distinct properties and applications.
ETP (Electrolytic Tough Pitch) Copper
1. Definition: ETP copper, also known as Electrolytic Tough Pitch copper, is a type of high-purity copper that is refined electrolytically to remove impurities.

GRADE ETP AND OFC
ETP copper typically has a minimum copper content of 99.9%.
It contains a small amount of oxygen, usually around 0.02% to 0.04%, which helps in the manufacturing process by preventing hydrogen embrittlement.
3. Properties:
Excellent Electrical Conductivity: ETP copper has a conductivity of approximately 100% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard).
Good Thermal Conductivity: It efficiently transfers heat, making it ideal for thermal applications.
High Ductility: ETP copper can be easily drawn into wires or rolled into sheets without breaking.
4. Applications:
Electrical Wiring: Due to its excellent electrical conductivity, ETP copper is widely used in electrical wiring, cables, and busbars.
Power Generation and Distribution: It is used in transformers, switchgear, and other electrical equipment.
Construction: ETP copper sheets and plates are used in architectural applications, roofing, and plumbing.
OFC (Oxygen-Free Copper)
Is refined using a process that reduces the oxygen content to very low levels, typically below 0.001%.

OFC copper typically has a minimum copper content of 99.99%, making it one of the purest forms of copper available.
3. Properties:
Superior Electrical Conductivity: With a conductivity slightly higher than ETP copper, OFC copper can reach up to 101% IACS.
Enhanced Thermal Conductivity: Its high purity ensures excellent thermal conductivity.
Improved Ductility and Strength: OFC copper is less prone to oxidation and hydrogen embrittlement, resulting in better mechanical properties.
Low Residual Resistance Ratio (RRR): This makes OFC copper suitable for high-frequency and high-fidelity audio applications.
4. Applications:
High-End Audio and Video Cables: Due to its superior electrical properties, OFC copper is used in high-fidelity audio cables, connectors, and speaker wires.
Magnet Wires: It is used in coils for magnetic applications, including motors, transformers, and inductors.
Vacuum and Cryogenic Equipment: OFC copper is ideal for use in vacuum environments and cryogenic applications due to its low impurity content and excellent thermal conductivity.
